We had fried cod dinner , fisherman’s platter , lobster Mac and cheese , and clam chowder . Everything was very good . It came out quick . We ate at picnic table outside . We brought our own drinks -which is always the best !

Great cold lobster roll. Lots of perfectly cooked well seasoned lobster meat and perfect soft bun. One slice of lettuce was the perfect amount of crunch without being considered “filler”. Fries were hot and crispy! Super friendly fast take out service. I will be back!

It was wonderful to see Captain Cass renovated and reopened! The service was fantastic as was the food. The portions were amazing for the price and the overall atmosphere was terrific. You can tell a lot of attention was paid to the redecorating with the painted weathered look of the furniture and everything. I had the Fried Clam Strips for lunch, then went back for dinner later in the week and had the Cap't Cass Seafood Platter, both were delicious! My wife loved the She Crab Stew. Will definitely be making this a must visit on our yearly trip to the Cape!

We were the first customers of the newly reopened captain cass. We’ve been going for years and it was our favorite lobster roll on cape cod. The new owner spent a lot of money updating the place, and while it lost the 1950’s divey charm, it looks great and feels clean and new while still very cape cod. The scallops were really moist and fresh and the lobster roll was a good size and also super fresh. The fries are very similar to what they used to be, battered style. Only minor gripe is to have a buttered/toaster roll for the lobster roll but otherwise the prices were fair and portions good. Very happy they are back with new owners investing in a cape classic. They added a new takeout window and outdoor seating overlooking the marsh (bring bug spray and beware the flies when no wind)

We've missed the old Captain Cass the last few years while it was being renovated. The new management has done a really credible job bringing back an institution. The hot Lobster rolls were very good, all meat, no filler, just as expected. The fries were hot and crispy, just like the original. I'm not big on Cole slaw but my companion liked it. We appreciate the updates to the property. The outdoor seating area seemed really popular though we sat indoors. They did a great job of maintaining the charm while updating and modernizing. We're looking forward to visiting again soon to try some of the other menu items.

Live 0.5 miles from this place and it is great to see it finally open back up. Had the classic indoor restaurant, but a new outdoor window to order and pick kup with plenty of seating. Authentic lobster shack exterior with seashell pavement, plenty of seats, and nautical decoration. Dog friendly with water and treats. Food was great, though I would like to explore more of the menu before I bump the food up to the full five stars. Overall, a great experience and restaurant I will definitely be returning to, with a beautiful view of Rock Harbor.

Absolutely delicious!! We ordered fried clams with bellies and fish & chips. They were both superb! We ordered from the outside back window and sat at the outdoor picnic tables. Service was fast. Love this place!
